POUR WINE

Wine

Claims can a rise from the moment grapes are harvested and fermented, bottled and corked, to the time when they are shipped over long distances and stored before distribution to the consumer. Rough handling damages by carriers and theft are also fairly common.

Storage and transport temperature can have impact on wine quality in that the timing of reaching the ideal acid to sugar ratio (normally found 4 months after flowering) can change. The result of "missing" the ideal acid/sugar ratio point will not only affect the wine quality, but can easily translate into other issues (e.g. changes in the fermentation process, suitability for storage, storage conditions etc.).

Be it leakage issues, temperature abuse during storage and transit, J. V. Watts & Co has extensive experience pursuing recoveries against liable parties. We have access to chemists, biologists, and wine makers to assist us in presenting evidence.
